Adapting popular Singaporean food and ingredients into different forms of western cuisine, the photographic series is a commentary on its modern-day local food scene. The project acts as a vessel to question one’s perception of authenticity in food, and to discern of its importance and relevance in the present.

“For Here or Takeaway” was exhibited at the 2020 adm show, singapore and featured on T Singapore – the NYT Style Magazine. It is currently featured as a photo essay as part of the 2021 Singapore Heritage Festival.
